Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We needed to help the Chicago Red Stars bring their fans to a game at the iconic Wrigley Field baseball stadium.

This was going to be the first time a women’s soccer team played a game at this arena. It was also a rare opportunity for the Chicago Red Stars to play within the city limits. 

To sell tickets, we reimagined the classic baseball tune Take Me out to the Ballgame for a modern soccer audience.

We created a campaign surrounding the tune that encouraged people to show up for these athletes. We encouraged fans to Takeover the stadium. The campaign exceeded expectations and broke the NWSL attendance record with over 35,000 fans present at the iconic game.
